"Phoenix Rising from the Ashes"
I am feeling invigorated and new today.
Resurgence in spite of everything.
The economy, my health woes, family problems
and the rain that keeps falling.
The phoenix rising from the ashes has imbued my soul
with ideas of death and transformation
Transformation is spilling over, drowning me with hope
Fire purifies and scars the soul.
Are we really born anew from the ashes
Like a babe spilling forth from the womb
entering the unknown.
The idea of starting over, waking up to a new day.
When we walk away from the sameness
will we refresh our lives,
invigorate our souls with a new seed.
The knowledge of the Phoenix is in the lost journey
Acceptance that we are lost,
the familiar is in our souls.
Find your self in your loss.
